Aniseed
Aniseed Aniseed is used to warm the abdomen, pervent and expel gas aid digestion, and relieve belching nausea and abdomenal pains. A good tea for gas, indigestion, bloting and nausea is that made from combining a pinch each of powders of aniseed, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and even a smaller pinch of black pepper, and then steeping the combination in boiled hot water or scalded raw milk. A cup can be taken after meals or throughout the winter to promote digestion and counteract coldness. Aniseed is commonally used as a flavoring agent and substituted for licorice.

Dose: 3 to 9 grams or one teaspoon of the crushed seeds steeped in a cup of boiled water, covered. Take 2 or 3 times daily or as needed.

Use Aniseed For: gas,nausea,abdominal pains, coughs and colds.
